The 2017 Dues Notice and Meeting Schedule are now available.
On February 4, 2010 at 5:30 pm there will be a special meeting of the Fredericksburg Area Bar Association to consider the report of the FABA Judicial Selection Commission with regard to the Circuit Court Judgeship vacancy created by Judge Revercomb’s retirement. The meeting will be held in the courtroom of the Fredericksburg General District Court.

Wills for Heroes is a program jointly sponsored in
Virginia by the VSB Young Lawyers Conference (YLC) and the VBA Young Lawyers Division (YLD), in conjunction with the Fredericksburg Area Bar Association (FABA) to provide wills, powers of attorney and medical directs to local emergency personnel. The Fredericksburg Area Bar Association is proud to
support our heroes in bringing the program to Spotsylvania County and the City of Fredericksburg.

On June 19, 2009, FABA was awarded 3 Certificate of Achievement Awards from the Virginia State Bar at the annual meeting in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
FABA was recognized for the 2008-2009 projects: 1) Bar Lunch ~N~ Learn Series; 2) Collecting Homeowners Dues in the Small Claims Court Seminar; and 3) IDC Training.
Congratulations FABA Members for your success in these projects.
FABA members are actively involved with community projects and statewide projects, participating annually with local schools for Law Day, and in 2006-2007 was awarded the “Certificate of Achievement” award by the Virginia State Bar for their “Reuniting Bar Members as a Community” project and in 2007-2008 was awarded the “Award of Merit” by the Virginia State Bar for their “Reviving Law Day” project.
In 2008, FABA member, Jeannie P. Dahnk, Esquire, was awarded the “Bar Leader of the Year” award by the Virginia State Bar.
