FALSA…the association for legal professionals

FALSA…the association for legal professionals is a non-profit organization, chartered in 1961, committed to the delivery of quality legal services through continuing legal education and increased professionalism.

Our regular monthly meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, beginning at 6:00 p.m., except for no meeting in July with the November and December meetings to be announced.

FALSA gives an annual scholarship of $500.00 to an area student continuing their education in the legal field. Additionally, we have several on-going community projects aimed at helping needy causes.

Seminars and workshops are offered locally, and through our state association, VALS…the association for legal professionals, and our national association, NALS, Inc.

NALS has developed and offers three professional certifications, ALS . . . a basic certification for legal professionals: PLS . . . an advanced certification for legal professionals: And PP. . . Professional Paralegal. More information on these certifications can be found at the NALS website.

Membership is available to all persons currently employed in the legal field or in a field connected with the legal profession.
